Apply In Person

1. To Apply for Trade Licence Amendment, the applicant has to approach the FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA - Ministry of Trade and Industry link
2. Applicant has to get the form from the respective office.
3. Applicant has to fill all the necessary details in the form.
4. Make sure that the applicant has to attach the documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Submit the completed form and the necessary documents to the officer.
6. Fee for this procedure has to paid as per the authority request.
7. Once the process is completed, the applicant gets the certificate by visiting the office within the stipulated processing period of time.

Required for Business License Amendment

• Proof that he is 18 years of age and older
• Photocopy of passport / citizenship identification of applicant
• Photocopy of Proof of Guardianship, signed by an agent / guardian
• Tax clearance
• Bank Evidence for Capital Reform
• If it is a company, a memorandum of association approved by the contract
• If there is a change of address, the place where the work will be carried out is a proof of ownership or a legal lease if it is leased
• If you receive a new member
• Citizenship ID
• If he is a non-living member, death certificate

• Covered area of the trade is being increased or decreased
• Change of area director
• Change of partner name
• Change of firm/company name
• Change of proprietor
• Change of nature of trade
• Change of proprietor to partnership and vice versa
• Change of Private Ltd to Ltd

• Fee for this procedure has to paid as per the authority request.
