Procedure

1. To obtain a learner driver license, please make sure you have the required documents that listed under the Required Documents section of this page.

Required Documents

REQUIREMENTS FOR SALVADORANS

• Tax Identification Number ( NIT ) (original and copy).
• Birth certificate. (Original and copy) (less effective as 6 months)
• Unico personal identity document ( DUI ) (original and copy)
• Proof of (original and copy) blood group (see note)
• Visual tests have approved the theoretical and practical, in any Examiners School authorized by the Deputy Minister of Transport.
  
  

REQUIREMENTS FOR FOREIGNERS

• Tax Identification Number ( NIT ) (original and copy)
• Valid passport (original and copy)
• Temporary resident card (with a force greater than 3 months) or permanent resident card (original and copy)
• Proof of (original and copy) blood group (see note)
• Having passed the visual, theoretical and practical examinations at any school examiner authorized by the Deputy Minister of Transport.
