Apply In-Person:
- To Obtain Cabin Crew Member Certificate in person, the applicant has to contact the nearest Civil Aviation Authority Office in Egypt.
- Information related to the civil aviation office and License authority can be obtained from the “Office locations and contacts” section of this page.
- Applicant must obtain the application form from the relevant department.
- Applicant should read carefully in the application form, after all details must be filled in the application form.
- The applicant shall submit a written application together with one passport size photograph and pay the prescribed fee and shall complete an application form.
- The applicant has to make sure he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
- When all the conditions have been met, and have been satisfactorily certified by the Authority’s Licensing Office, the applicant will be advised to pay the prescribed fees found under the "Fees" section of this page.
- After paying the prescribed fees, a processing time of 7 days is needed to complete the processing of the Cabin Crew Member, after which the applicant will be contacted through a phone call to collect his/her, new Cabin Crew Member Certificate at the civil aviation offices.
- Applicant will be required to carry the applicant’s identification documents when collecting his/her new license.

- A Class 2 medical certificate
- A knowledge test report (if applicable)
- A certificate from an approved course of training; Records substantiating the training shown on the Application Form
- Two (2) recent passport size photographs (full face)
- A photo Identification Card or Passport
- Receipt of the prescribed fees.

- Have completed a course of training approved by the Authority. and

- A fee for this procedure is EGP. 2,000.
ValidityEdit
- A Cabin Crewmember Certificate is valid for twelve months from the date of issue or renewal.

Need for the DocumentEdit
A person should not act as a cabin crewmember unless that person holds-
- A cabin crewmember certificate.
- A rating for the specific aircraft type or is operating under the supervision of a rated cabin crew for the purpose of qualifying for the rating.
- The required knowledge for the type of aircraft and operating position.
- The current Medical Certificate Class 2.
A holder of a cabin crewmember certificate may act as a cabin crewmember in aircraft of types specified in the certificate when such aircraft are engaged in commercial transport operations

“Cabin crewmember” means a crewmember who performs in the interest of safety of passengers, duties assigned by the operator or the PIC of the aircraft, but who shall not act as a flight crewmember.

- A holder of a cabin crew member certificate may be authorized to act as a cabin crewmember instructor for issue or renewal of cabin crew certificate and aircraft type ratings.
