Procedure

1. Approach the Passport and Immigration Department to apply for a Certificate of Identity. Be ready to present some form of identification.
2. Submit your photo and the stamps to the person-in-charge in the immigration, so that they can begin to process your application.

• EC $20.00 stamps
• One recent passport photo
• Some form of Identification such as Driver's License, Social Security Card, Birth Certificate or Immigration records.

Note: Stamps are available for purchase at the General Post Office in Roseau and at its branches.

Non-Dominicans who have encountered problems because of the lost of their passports, may apply for a Certificate of Identity which will serve as a temporary travel document. Applications for Certificate of Identity are processed by the Passport and Immigration Department.
