Procedure

How to apply

1. The company which has employed you (foreigner) in Djibouti should visit the National Agency for Employment, Training and Professional Integration (ANEFIP) office, approach the service desk and express your interest.
2. Submit the work authorization request letter and attach the supporting documents (listed below under "Required Documents") to the attending official for verification and processing.
3. Pay the required work permit fees
4. If the authorized official is satisfied that all the documents are in order you will be issued with the work permit within 7 working days.

• The hiring declaration
• 4 copies of the employment contract (Form available at the Imprimerie Nationale)
• Letter addressed to the Director General of ANEFIP
• 2 photos of identity
• Photocopy of passport or residence visa
• Company license
