ProcedureEdit
- You should visit any of the prefecture office, department of Legalization and Certification Service office near you, approach the service desk and express your interest.
- Fill out the application form and attach all the supporting documents (listed below under “Required Documents”) and submit them to the attending official for verification and processing.
- Pay the required stamp fees.
- If the authorized official is satisfied that all the documents are in order you will be issued with the certificate within one working day

The assimilation certificate implies sufficient knowledge of the Djiboutian language, history, culture and society and of the rights and duties conferred by Djiboutian nationality. Assimilation also assumes that the applicant demonstrates his adherence to the values of Djiboutian society.
