Apply In Person

1. To Obtain Weapons and Shooting Instructor Credentials, the applicant has to approach the Federal Police Brazil – link
2. Enroll in a training course for weapons and shooting instruction provided by a recognized institution or training center.
3. This course should cover topics such as firearm safety, shooting techniques, instructional methods, and relevant laws and regulations.

9. The applicant has to attach photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting it.
10. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
11. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
12. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
13. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
14. As part of the application process,the authorities may conduct a background check and evaluate the applicant’s qualifications and experience as a weapon and shooting instructor.
15. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
16. If the application is approved, the applicant will be issued the necessary credentials as a weapon and shooting instructor.
17. These credentials may include an instructor identification card or certificate, which demonstrate the applicant’s authorization to provide instruction in shooting and firearm handling.
18. This entire process can be completed within 15 - 20 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
