Apply In Person

  1. To Obtain a Certificate for the Export of Beverages, Acetic Fermented Products, Wines and Grape and Wine Derivatives, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock link
  2. Ensure that the products comply with all applicable Brazilian regulations for export. This may include adhering to quality standards, labelling requirements, and other relevant regulations set by the Brazilian authorities.
  3. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
  4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  5. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  6. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
  7. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
  8. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
  9. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  10. Then the application will be processed further.
  11. In some cases, an inspection of the applicant's production facility or product samples may be required by the regulatory authorities.
  12. This is to ensure that your products meet the quality and safety standards set by both Brazil and the destination country.
  13. Once all the requirements are met, the regulatory authorities will issue the certificate for the export of the beverages, acetic fermented products, wines, and grape and wine derivatives. Ensure that you comply with any additional export procedures, such as customs documentation and shipping arrangements.
  14. This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
