Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for sewer connection all you need is to fill in an application form which can be obtained from the Water Utilities Corporation (WUC) front office or download it via this link FORM
2. Accurately fill in the application form and attach all the requirement and submit them, if you encounter any difficult in filling the form, please ask for assistance from the staff
3. Upon payment of deposit fee the WUC will then conduct a Survey of the customer premises to determine the requirements for the new connection within seven days of registering of the application forms
4. The customer takes all responsibility for construction and connection costs which will be effected within three days after drainage works are completed and approved.
5. During the installation of a new connection, the customer will be provided with information explaining how to maintain the sewer connection and what to do in case of a sewer blockage.
6. The customer will receive his or her first bill with sewer charges within one month from the connection date.

Required Documents

• Copy of Omang (citizen) or passport (non-citizen).
• Certificate of Rights for land use. This could be a lease agreement, a title deed or a letter of allocation of land.
• Document of matrimonial status (where applicable) for residential and if the property is in the name of a woman.
• Company registration certificate.
• Completed application form and official stamp.
• Application fees
• Any other document that may be specified by the WUC officer.

Instructions

For connection points which are within 30m radius, approval will be given right away. Those connection points more than 30m, customers have to provide technical drawing of the route to the connection point, the pipeline data and the connection details, and also approval for land use (way leave). For this submission, approval has to be undertaken first before payment is affected.
