How to Apply
Apply In-Person

1. Eligible applicants whose Business/company that are not under the jurisdiction of the cotonou commercial court, and are of other courts, should visit the appropriate court and express their interest at the receptionist/clerk desk and collect all necessary forms.
2. Submit the completed forms, attached to the copy of the extract from the company RCCM, to the court clerk to be verified and reordered.
3. Your file will then be forwarded to the cashier counter/office where you will be advised to make payment of the processing fee and the stamp, which will be affixed to your request, you will then be issued with an acknowledgement slip.
4. Your application file will then be forwarded to the competent department for verification and processing.
5. If the authorized official is satisfied with the outcome of the search on the company financial records, you will be issued with the certificate of non-bankruptcy in one working day against the acknowledgment slip and your identification document.

1. Applicants whose Business/company are under the jurisdiction of the cotonou commercial court can submit their request via online through this website; Link
2. Click on “online services” icon and enter your credential {Email and password} if you are already registered, if you are not registered, please contact the cotonou commercial court on how obtain your login credential. {View office location and contact section below} for the contact details.
3. Upon login, please located the application form and fill it accurately, upload all supporting documents as listed on the site.
4. If online payment is applicable, please make all necessary payment and then submit your application file for verification and processing by the competent department.
5. You will receive an acknowledgment mail verifying that your request as being taken into account.
6. You will then be notified of the outcome in one working day, by mail and given further instruction on how to obtain/collect the certificate if approved.
