Procedure

Apply Online:

1. To Obtain a Birth Certificate, the applicant has to use the following link
2. The applicant has to select the following address type and click the “Next” button.
3. Select the country and office, city and click the “Next” button.
4. The applicant has to enter the details of the registration process and click the “Next” button.
5. Skip the payment option in online mode and click the “Print” button to download the form.
6. Now the applicant has to attach the necessary documents which are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
7. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the embassy counter.
8. Pay the required amount of fee has been prescribed by the respective officer.
9. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
10. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
11. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
12. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
13. The applicant will get the certificate through the post.
14. This entire process can be completed within one week or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
