ProcedureEdit
Apply In Person:
- To Apply for Marriage Allowance (for the Daughters of War Wounded and Dead War Wounded Freedom Fighters), the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs link
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
- Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
- There is no fee for the allowance.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
- Then the application will be processed further.
- Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
- For further process, the applicant has to follow the instruction given by the officer.
- This entire process can be completed within 2- 3 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

EligibilityEdit
To be eligible to apply for Marriage Allowance for the Daughters of War Wounded and Dead War Wounded Freedom Fighters in Bangladesh, the following eligibility criteria must be met:
- The applicant must be the daughter of a war-wounded freedom fighter or a dead war-wounded freedom fighter who is listed in the gazette notification of the Bangladesh Government.
- The applicant must be a citizen of Bangladesh and have a valid national identity card.
- The daughter must be married after the issuance of the gazette notification or after the father was declared as a war-wounded or dead war-wounded freedom fighter.
- The applicant must not be receiving any other marriage allowance or benefits from the government or any other organization.
- The marriage must be registered with the relevant government authorities.
- The applicant must meet any additional eligibility criteria specified by the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs or the local Deputy Commissioner's office.
