ProcedureEdit

Apply In-Person

  1. To apply for an Employee Verification In-Person, get the prescribed form for employee verification from the nearest police station in Bihar : Know your Police Station
  2. In the procured form, fill the required details of the employee.
  3. Provide the required information about the employer.
  4. Affix the passport size photograph of the employee in the space given.
  5. Attach Photocopy of Photo ID proofs of the employee.
  6. Duly sign the form and submit the form at the nearest Police Station.
  7. Pay the processing fee if required.
  8. Receive the acknowledgment receipt and keep it safe for further reference.
  9. Visit the Police Station to get the report once it is ready.
  10. Follow up to know the status of your report, and visit the Police Station to get the report once it is ready.

Note: Make sure you carry the original Id proofs with you for cross verification.
Apply through Centres:

  1. To apply through centres, the applicant has to visit the respective “CSC” centre. Please tap on the following link to locate the centre according to the respective district: link.
  2. Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  3. The operator will process the application online.
  4. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement.
  5. This application will be processed internally. Once the verification is over, the issue of the license to the applicant will be final.
  6. The status, viz. Approval or Rejection if any, will be conveyed to the applicant through an SMS.
  7. If approved, the verification license will be hand delivered or sent through post to the address mentioned while applying or issued in a stipulated period of time.

  • The Employee should be 18 years and above.

  • There is no validity period for this Verification Report.
  • It solely depends on the person/authority accepting the Verification Report.
  • The certificate stands null and void in case the employee indulges in any criminal activities.

Need for the DocumentEdit

  • While hiring a person, it is highly advisable to verify the antecedent of the person with the police before employing them.
  • This verification also helps you know if any criminal records were registered against the person hired and if he/she has a shady character.

  • This protects the employee from involving in any criminal activities in the near future.
