Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for construction of irrigation well subsidy is available in Department of Agriculture, Bihar contact link
2. Applicant should make sure to carry all the documents that are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page (Both photocopies and originals).
3. Applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the form and attach the photocopies of the documents that are needed along with the application form before submitting.
4. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
5. Concerned authorities will look into the application form and submitted documents before providing an approval.
6. Approval will be provided within 2-3 weeks.
7. If the approval has not been given within 3 weeks, applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.

1. The application form for the subsidy is available online on the Department of Horticulture website.

3. If the applicant had a registration number, then they can login by entering it.
4. If the applicant doesn’t have a registration number, then they have to register first on the DBT website.

6. After entering the registration number, the applicant has to enter all the necessary details in the application form that opens after it.
7. The applicant should make sure to upload digital copies of the documents that are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
8. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details like – personal details, technical details (soil details), land details etc. in the form and click on the “Submit” button.
9. The fee should be paid after submitting the application form (fee can be paid online).
10. If all of the above-mentioned procedures were followed by the applicant properly, the application form gets the approval from the concerned authority.
11. It takes around 2 weeks for the process to get over.
    

Apply through Centres:

1. To apply through centres, the applicant has to visit the respective “CSC” centre. Please tap on the following link to locate the centre according to the respective district: link.
2. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
3. The operator will process the application online.
4. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement.
5. This application will be processed internally. Once the verification is over, these officials will submit their report to the respective superior authority to decide the issue of the certificate.
6. The status, viz. Approval or Rejection if any, will be conveyed to the applicant through an SMS.
7. If approved, the subsidy will be issued in a stipulated period of time.

Instructions

• Once after the process is over, the selected applicants are directed to start the work under the technical supervision of the department officials.
• After the completion of work in all respect 1/3rd cost of the irrigation, is handed over to the farmers as subsidy.
