Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To obtain a birth certificate, the applicant has to approach the Service NSW Centre. Contact details are mentioned in “Office Locations & Contacts” of this page. Or use the following given Contact Link
2. An application form is available at the following Link
3. The applicant has to fill-in all the details in the form.
4. Applicant should make sure to attach all the documents that are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page (Both photocopies and originals).
5. Submit the application with the required document to appropriate office.
6. Submitting address is mentioned in “Office Locations & Contacts” of this page.
7. The fee of this procedure is mentioned under the “Fees” section of this page.
8. Government of New South Wales will issue the certificate and notify the applicant.
9. Please contact Government of New South Wales for further details.

Validity

• A single status certificate is valid only for the applicant's time as a resident of NSW.
