To obtain a duplicate certificate or certificate, the applicant submits his application together with an identification document.
If a duplicate Birth certificate requested Civilian Regional or local authority to apply to the authorized person, then in addition to the above documents must be submitted by the applicant Civilian territorial department on behalf of a notary or a notary certified power of attorney by the acts of a person entitled to the identification authorizing.
In order to receive a Birth certificate or a duplicate copy of a Birth certificate or certificate seeker set of documents can also be submitted by mail.
Foreign nationals or stateless persons are also in Armenian passport and notarized or certified by the international agreements of the translation.
In case of application by post should be marked as a duplicate license or certificate, e-mail address, in case of incomplete documents shall notify the applicant. The application must be submitted by mail, in order to be certified by a notary signature and (or) the international treaties of the procedure.
Birth Certificate or a copy of the Birth certificate, the certificate or duplicate certificate seeker's request and at its own expense, will be provided via certified mail if the applicant has noted in his application of it.
Birth Certificate or a copy of the certificate, the certificate or duplicate certificate seeker is provided via certified mail, a copy of a certificate or certificate relating to him personally.
Postal communications services are paid for by the applicant for the license reference or copy of the current rates or foreign countries, Armenia's postal tariffs accordingly.

The following documents are submitted to the Ministry of Justice:
- announcement.
- Applicant (if a person has applied for) an identification document.
- seeker Civilian Department issued a certificate of residence, lack of Marriage Act, and if it had been previously married, a copy of the document confirming the fact of the termination of the marriage.
- In case of an application by a person authorized to perform notary or notary certified power of attorney and authorized by the eligible person's identification document.
If the marital status of reference for getting the application filed by the applicant's parent, then he represents:
- announcement.
- the identification document.
- seeker's identity document, birth certificate copies.

EligibilityEdit
It is issued by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia.
Foreign country of reference seeker (authorized person, parent) can apply for a certificate to qualify for the State of Armenia's diplomatic representation or consular institution (the consulate).
It can be obtained by:
- The person to whom the record made by the Civil Status Act.
- Parents, legal representatives or custody and guardianship representative, if the person whose record was made in a civil act, was incapable of acquiring a copy of the certificate.
- Another person, if he act of civil status registration certificate by the person entitled to receive a copy of the notarized or certified by a person authorized to perform notarial deed.
- 16-18 year old kids can get copies of birth certificates based on their application if they have identification documents.

The fee is AMD 1000
One working days notice for providing extra pay additional fee, the amount of 10,000, and two business days for delivery for the 7000 AMD.

The certificate is issued by the Ministry of Justice after submitting the documents referred to above 5-day period: The period may be reduced at the expense of the Justice Ministry's budget in exchange for an additional payment of up to one day.

A birth certificate is a record of a birth that happened in Armenia. It is a government document that can be used as proof of identity.
Birth certificates are issued by the Ministry of Justice's Civic Status Registration Department (also known as ZAGS) having jurisdiction over the locality where the individual resides or lived.
Required InformationEdit
- Your first and last name, mailing address, and phone number
- Information of the person on the birth certificate:
- First, middle, and last name, date of birth, gender and city of birth
- Previous legal names for the person named on the birth registration (if applicable)
- Parents information including the mother's maiden name
Need for the DocumentEdit
A Birth Certificate is an official copy of the birth registration and is often used to help establish a person's identity.
The Birth Certificate is issued by the provincial or territorial government and is required as identification to apply for other important personal documents.
Make sure that the copies of the documents you have scanned or photographed are clear and easy to read.
Certificates are sent by the Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages via registered post. They cannot be collected at a service centre.

An applicant presenting documents from a foreign country as proof of relationship or proof of legal interest must provide certified copies of the documents. Photocopies are not acceptable. The applicant must also provide a certified translation of the documents.
Other uses of the Document/CertificateEdit
To enroll in schools or the military; to obtain a passport; to get a drivers license or a marriage license if you dont have a passport; to apply for government and private benefits (such as insurance and retirement benefits). You also need your childs birth certificate as proof of age to sign him or her up for elementary school or Little League.
