Procedure

Renew in Person

1. Go to your designated Department of Revenue License Office.
2. Make sure that your license is not expired for more than six months.Otherwise, you will take the written adn driving tests again.
3. Exhibit your proofs of identity, appearing in person and residency.
4. Pay to the cashier the renewal fees.
5. You will receive a renewed drivers license by the end of the day.

Renew through the mail

• You can only avail of this method if
  • Military personnel assigned out of state
  • Military personnel stationed out of state.
• Completely filled up Form 4317- Mail-In Driver License Application.
• Attached a photocopy of your ID: military or military dependent.
• Enclosed copies of your proofs of identity, lawful presence and residency
• If you had your status or name change, you can also attach proof relevant to it.
• The mail should also contain the appropriate renewal license fee.
• Mail this application at the address below:

• Completely filled up Form 4317- Mail-In Driver License Application.*Photocopy of your ID: military or military dependent
• Proofs of identity, lawful presence and residency
• Marriage license or Proof of change of name if necessary

Eligibility

• Resident of USA
• Holder of a valid drivers license.
• Proof of financial responsibility

Fees

Class F licenses are $10 for three years and $20 for six years;
Class E licenses are $17.50 for three years and $35 for six years.)

Processing Time

The Department of Revenue processes renewed licenses within 10 days from receipt of the renewal license applications.

Instructions

• The Department of Revenue will send you a postcard before the due date of your license. It will serve as your timepiece that your license is due for renewal.
• You can renew your license by mail.
• You can renew your license in person.

• Name
• Current Address
• Date of birth
• Date of license expiry

Need for the Document

Once you have obtained your drivers license, you must always be attentive as to date on when you will renew your license. For you to be able to legally drive, your license must at all times be renewed.
