ProcedureEdit

Apply In Person:

  1. To apply for Hostel License in Assam, the applicant has to approach the nearest Municipal Corporation in their area.
  2. Get the application form from the executive officer in the Municipal Corporation.
  3. Fill up the application form correctly without any mistakes.
  4. Please make sure you have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. Submit the application form along with the required documents.
  6. After submitting the application form pay the applicable fees as per the instruction.
  7. The applicant will receive a transaction number on the registered mobile number.
  8. Using the transaction number the applicant can check the status of the application.
  9. Once the application is approved you will be notified via SMS.
  10. Login into the official portal portal and enter the application number and click on the "Submit" button.
  11. Now you can download the Hostel License certificate.



Apply Online - Assam Obtain Hostel License or Permit Online with Images

  1. To apply for Hostel License in Assam, the applicant has to visit the official web page of Guwahati Municipal Corporation.
  2. The applicant can use the following link to apply for Hostel License : Guwahati Municipal Corporation Online
  3. The applicant has to click on the "Register Here" to sign up on the portal.
  4. Fill all the required details in the form and click on sign up option.
  5. The applicant will receive an OTP to the registered mobile number.
  6. Now enter the received OTP and click on the verify OTP button.
  7. Click on the Login option to enter user name and password.
  8. Now click on the "Sign In" option to apply for Hostel License.
  9. The applicant has to click on the "License Register” option for New Registration.
  10. Fill the required details and upload the necessary documents in the Registration form.
  11. After completing the Registration form and click on the "Submit" button.
  12. Once the Registration is completed, the applicant will receive an OTP number to the registered mobile number.
  13. Enter the received OTP and click on the "VERIFY OTP"
  14. Now the applicant has to make Payment by clicking on the "PAY ONLINE" option.
  15. Click on the "YES" to confirm payment.
  16. Now the applicant has to enter the banking details to proceed for online payment.
  17. On approval of the application form the Deputy Commissioner, the applicant will be intimated for payment of fees.
  18. The applicant can download the acknowledgement slip by clicking on the application number.
  19. To download the copy of Trade License, click on "Download" link.
  20. You can check the status of the application by clicking on "Check License Status" and enter your acknowledgement number in the text box.
  21. Now click on the search icon.
