Procedure

Following are the ways through which you can register a firm for business purpose in Arunachal Pradesh.
Apply In-Person:

1. To register for a firm approach the municipal corporation office of your district.
2. Download the firm form- I of the Indian partnership Act, 1932 from the below link Procedure
3. Also you can download the form from the given links Application form
4. Make sure that you have all the proper documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section below.
5. Submit the form to the municipal corporation office along with the required documents. More details about the municipal corporation office location is provided in the following link : Municipal Corporation Office Location
6. Refer the municipal corporation office location mentioned in the “Office location & contacts” section below.
7. After the application form is processed, an enquiry officer will make a thorough verification regarding your identity proof which you have submitted along with the form, criminal records if any and some general investigations.
8. After successful verification, the firm will be registered.

1. Applicant can create account on the municipal council website through the given link Link
2. Enter the valid user name and password.
3. If you are a new user then click “Register” and create an account.
4. After the successful login, select “Trade license” from the services section and select “New Trade registration”.
5. Application form for new trade registration will open up.
6. Fill all the mandatory details. Click “Next”.
7. In the next page, upload documents. Maximum size is 4MB.
8. Upload the following documents

   • Passport size photo
   • Land allotment paper
   • Self Declaration form
   • Food safety document
   • ST certificate
   • Aadhaar card
   • NOC from DC/EAC/Administrative officer

9. Click “Submit” to submit the application form. You will receive an SMS as a confirmation.
10. Upon submission, you will be directed to a new page, where you can see “Click here” option. Click it to receive acknowledgement number to track the status of application.
11. You will be directed to a new page which shows you the filled form to check the details.
12. Once the license is generated, visit home select “Download certificate” from the “citizen menu” section.

Eligibility

• Dealer should be the resident of Arunachal Pradesh.
• Any dealer who wants to do business with their partners can register.

Fees

Court fee stamp of Rs. 3/- must be affixed on the form.

Explain the time until which the certificate/document is valid.

Information which might help

• Any firm which has a minimum of 10 employees has to register.
• For LLP Company one needs to file under 2008 Act.
• For partnership firm one needs to file under partnership Act, 1932.
• For any of the public and private company there is a New Companies Act 2013.

Registration will bring the firm with complete authentic and credential in respect of quality and legal business form.
