- To Get a Duplicate Marriage Certificate, the applicant has to approach the Alabama Public Health link
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer or the applicant has to download the application form from the following link
- The applicant has to enter all the details in the application form.
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
- Submit all the necessary documents along with the completed form to the Public Health Mailing address.
- The mailing address is mentioned in the “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page.
- The for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- Then the application will be processed further and if required, the applicant has to visit the nearest health center to give further details in-person.
- Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets the marriage certificate through mail.
- The processing time for obtaining a birth certificate takes up to 15 – 25 days.
