Apply by Mail
- To Apply for Approval of Commodity Eligibility, the applicant has to approach the USAID (U.S. Agency for International Development) link
- The applicant has to download the application form from the following link
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has to attach all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
- Submit the completed form along with the necessary details to office mail address.
- The mailed address is mentioned in the “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page.
- The fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- Once all the verification process is completed, the applicant will get the eligibility permit through mail.
- If USAID refuses the approval, the Agency will return the form to the supplier with an explanation for refusal.
- In either case, an identification number will be assigned by USAID in the upper right-hand corner of the form. Any follow-up correspondence between the supplier and USAID should refer to this number.
- The processing time for this procedure is up to 15 – 30 days.
