Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To Adopt Zoo Animal in Uttar Pradesh, the applicant has to approach the Zoo.
2. The address of the Zoo in Uttar Pradesh can be obtained from the “Office Locations and Contacts” Section of this page.
3. After visiting the office, applicant has to approach the Zoo office to obtain Adoption.
4. Choose an Animal for Adoption and level of support.
5. After entering the necessary details, submit the form in the Zoo office.
6. Pay the appropriate fees at the Zoo office in cash/cheque/card.
7. Once payment is transferred successfully, Adoption certificate will be issued.

1. To apply for adoption, the applicant can visit the official Link of Lucknow Zoo and click on “Adopt/Donate” button.
2. Select “Adopt”or follow the link: link
3. Fill up the necessary details, select the animal and duration of Adoption.
4. Then click on “Proceed” button.
5. Make payment through online mode using debit card/credit card/UPI.
6. Once the payment is successfully processed, zoo authority will contact you soon through mail.

Privileges of Adopting a Zoo Animal:

• All Adoptions are eligible for Income Tax deduction under section 80G of the IT Act, 1961.
• Official Certificate of adoption will be provided.
• Adopters name will be published in the Zoo website.
• Display of names/logo on the adopted Animal enclosure, depending upon the level of support.
