Procedure

This procedure explains various ways to Register as Contractor in Chandigarh(Haryana).
To bid for a government contract Individual/establishment has to register themselves as an approved contractor. The contractors classified under different class ( Class-I/Class-II etc) are eligible to bid for different levels of government contracts.

Apply In-Person:

1. Applicant shall apply with the chief engineer of the respective PWD (Public works department) Divisional office.
2. Make sure that you are eligible for applying.
3. Go to the respective office.

5. Consult with the designated authority. Obtain the application form or write on an A4 sheet as advised.
6. Submit the completed application form along with required documents.
7. Submitted application will be verified by the authorities. If all are in place, applicant will be provided with acknowledgement for the submitted application.
8. Please pay the required fees/charges as appropriate and get the receipt from the department.
9. This application will be processed internally.
10. Once the applicant is found eligible, License will be granted as per applicable norms.
11. License will be delivered to the address mentioned while applying or it will be delivered as per notification.

Apply Online

1. Please use the following link to reach online portal
2. In the given page please select “CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION” menu and choose “Contractor Enlistment”
3. User will reach a new page.
4. Enter all the required details and click on the “SUBMIT” Button.
5. Follow the onscreen to complete the application form.
6. Once the online filling of application form is complete, please make payment using the right option.
7. An acknowledgement for submission of application will be generated. Same time an acknowledgment with reference number will be sent to your mobile and email. Keep it safe for future reference.
8. This application will be forwarded to the respective department for further processing.
9. Submitted application will be verified by the authorities.
10. Please follow department notification.
11. Once the applicant is found eligible, License will be granted as per applicable norms.
12. License will be delivered to the address mentioned while applying or it will be delivered as per notification.
    

Note:

• Applicant will be asked to meet the concerned authority for interview.
• Department authority may conduct inspection of the workshop or the facility of the applicant
• It is advised to submit additional set of copy of the documents and get counter signed for your safety while applying with government department.

• Work orders and works done/ work completion certificates as prime contractor in other Government Department / Government undertaking/ Board/ Committee/ Government Corporation/ Central Public Enterprise under Government of India reflecting nature of work/ demonstrating experience for five years.

  • Firm Registration Certificate

  • Power of Attorney

  • Certificate of Incorporation
  • Memorandum of Association & Article of Association
  • Power of Attorney

Eligibility

• An Individual or a firm shall apply
• Should prove applicable finance requirement
• Applicant should not be a
  • Retired Engineer of Gazetted rank or
  • Gazetted Officer employed on Engineering or
  • Person who held administrative duties in any engineering Department of the Government of India during the last two years.
