- Telangana government have implemented no manual mode of property tax payment. The online portal is well planned to accept the payment.
- Tax assessment, issue of special notice, issue of annual demand notices and receipts are 100% computerized
- The GHMC uses the following formula to calculate property tax:

Apply Online:
- To Know your property tax
- In Telangana, one can use the following link to know his or her property tax details. online link for detail of tax
- Please select your area against "Circle" from the drop down menu and enter PTIN, Name of owner and door Number – then click “SEARCH PROPERTY TAX”
- In the next page details of the property tax will be displayed
- To Pay your property tax online
- Please use the following online portal link of Telangana State to make online payment for property tax : Link for online portal
- In the given page, Please enter your PTIN number and click “KNOW YOUR TAX DUES”.
- The resulting page gives details of outstanding dues if any along with current tax.
- Please follow the screen prompts and select / enter details required.
- Mobile number and email id should be provided at appropriate places to get notification and OTP.
- After the details are filled in, now payment through payment gateway has to be made.
- Payment can be made online, NDEFT and RTGS.
- Finally acknowledgement for paid tax will be displayed. Please save or print it out for reference.
To check the dues
- To check Property Tax due, the applicant has to make the application online via – link
- The applicant has to enter the PTI No and click the “Know Your Property Tax Dues”.
- The applicant can check the details of the due payment.
Apply In-Person:
- To Pay Property Tax, the applicant has to approach the Municipality corporation – link
- The applicant has to visit the office with the property tax card.
- Based on the amount mentioned in the tax invoice, the taxpayer has to make payment by either cheque / DD in favour of the department.
- Once the payment is completed, from the cash counter the applicant will get the payment slip.
- The processing time for this procedure is complete within a day.
Apply through Paytm
- To Pay Property Tax, the applicant has to download the app from the following link – link
- The applicant has to click the “Municipality payment”.
- The applicant has to select the respective corporation from the list.
- The applicant has to enter the property ID and other minor details and then click the “Get Tax Amount” button.
- Now the amount will be displayed on the screen and click the “Proceed to pay” button.
- The applicant has to select the payment method.
- Enter the payment details and click the “Pay” button.
- The applicant can check the payment summary after the payment gets successful.
- The processing time for this procedure is complete within a few minutes.
Apply through CSC
- To Pay Property Tax, the applicant has to approach the nearest CSC centre – link
- NOTE: The applicant has to select a state, district and block name from the drop-down menu, or the applicant has to click on their respective district to find nearby centers.
- The applicant has to visit the centre and submit the tax pay invoice to an operator.
- The officer will check the details on the computer.
- Followed by the applicant can pay the amount to the officer by cash or online transaction.
- Once the payment process for the property tax is completed, the applicant will get a successful payment receipt from the officer.
- The processing time for this procedure is complete within a day.

- Property tax or 'house tax' is a local tax imposed on owners of an apartment, land and building by the Government. The governing authority of the jurisdiction levies the tax to the owner in which the property is located.
