Tamil Nadu - Online Obtain a Caste Certificate

Step 1 : First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. If you would like to know about the documents that are required for this procedure, please visit the following link : Required Documents for Obtaining Caste Certificate
Step 2 : Please use the following link to apply online : Apply Online.
Step 3 : In this page please click “New User? SignUp here” option to register into the portal and apply for the services. Refer the below image where it is highlighted in RED.

Step 4 : Complete the registration form and click “Sign Up” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 5 : Enter the OTP in the textbox and click “Verify OTP” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 6 : Now click “Click here to Login” hyperlink which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 7 : Enter valid credentials and click “Login” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 8 : Select your district and taluk from the dropdown menu and then click “Update” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 9 : Now click “SERVICE WISE” option highlighted in RED and move to 5th page. Now click “REV-115 Other Backward Classes (OBC) Certificate” option which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 10 : Read the instructions and click “Proceed” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 11 : Now click “Register CAN” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 12 : Complete the CAN registration and click “Generate OTP” tab highlighted in RED to receive OTP. Enter the received OTP in the textbox and click “Confirm OTP” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image. Then click “Register” tab highlighted in RED.

Step 13 : Note down the CAN number and click “Proceed” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 14 : Now Complete the application form with valid details. Then click “Submit” tab to submit your application.
Step 15 : This submitted application will be processed by the respective department as per how it will be processed in person.
Step 16 : Applicant will get notification about the status on his registered mobile number provided while applying. Applicant shall get the certificate as notified.
