Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. A person desirous of making a complaint about water quality in Andhra Pradesh must visit the Pollution Control Board office. Click on the following link to find the address of each district Link
2. Write down the complaint in a detailed manner on white paper. Fill in your name, contact details, address and duration of issue. Attach documents or pictures of proof, if any.
3. Submit the letter to the pollution control officer.
4. The officer will issue a receipt for further reference.
5. No fee is required for this procedure.
6. The time limit for each complaint varies according to the credibility and importance of the complaint.
7. To check the status of your complaint, visit the following Pollution Control website: Link.
8. Enter the “Reference Id” in the box and click the “Submit” button to know your complaint status.
9. Any step taken towards the complaint will be notified via Email/SMS/Letter.

1. A person desirous of making a complaint about the water quality in Andhra Pradesh must visit the Pollution Control Board website Link.
2. On the homepage, click the “Grievances/Complaints/Feedback” button.
3. An e-application form will appear. First, enter your name and contact details. Then, under “Grievance/Complaint Details,” select your “District,” and under “Type of Grievance,” select the first option, “Public Grievances/Complaints.”
4. Another two sub-category boxes will now appear. Under “Grievance Category,” select the option related to your complaint.
5. If it’s a complaint against Industries polluting the water, select “Industrial Water Pollution.”
6. In the below “Description” box, fill in the complaint.
7. Under “If any Documents/Evidences Please Upload,” click on the “Choose File” button and upload documents related to the complaint.
8. Enter the Captcha and click the “Submit” button finally.
9. A “Reference Id” will be generated when the complaint is successfully registered.
10. To check the status of your complaint, revisit the Pollution Control website: Link.
11. Enter the “Reference Id” in the box and click the “Submit” button to know your complaint status.
12. Any step taken towards the complaint will be notified via Email/SMS/Letter.
