Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To apply for a land mortgage, you will need a non-encumbrance certificate in Punjab.
2. Go to the nearest Tehsil or sub registrars office.
3. You will have to fill an application form.
4. Here is the link to the application form Application form
5. Once you fill it, you can submit it with supporting documents as mentioned in the “Required documents” section of this page at the office, the application will be forwarded to the concerned authorities.
6. You will get timely updates through SMS.
7. Once approved you can go to the office to collect your certificate.
   

Apply Online

1. Go to the official website of the revenue courts management system.
2. Here is the official website
3. Click on “Non ENCUMBRANCE CERTIFICATE”.
4. You will have to enter details such as your name, address, tehsil number and attach a picture of your ID for proof.
5. Click on “I agree”, put a tick.
6. An OTP will be sent to your mobile phone.
7. Enter OTP and an account will be created.
8. Log in and enter details for the encumbrance certificate.
9. Upload all the documents when prompted.
10. An application id will be generated which you can use to track the application.

• Proforma NEC
• Affidavit
• Report of Halqa patwari.
• Income certificate.
• Identity Proof such as Aadhar card/ PAN card.
• Residence Proof such as Voter ID, Driving License, Electricity Bill.
