Procedure


Apply through Phone Call

  • You can apply by calling "14567" which is a National Helpline for the Elders and they should be able to facilitate you to get a Senior Citizen Certifiate or Identity Card.

Apply Online

  1. To apply for the Senior Citizen Certificate the applicant has to use the following link
  2. The applicant has to fill all the necessary details and upload the required document and click “submit “button.
  3. Make sure that you have all the original documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section below.
  4. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  5. All applications are processed within a reasonable time, having regard to the particular circumstances of each application, including the completeness of information and documents submitted to the authority by the applicant.
  6. The authority may seek additional information from an applicant if this is necessary to assess the application. The authority does not need to deal further with an application until the applicant has provided this additional information.
  7. Once the process is completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
  8. For further process, the applicant has to follow the instructions given by the office.
  9. This entire process can be completed within 10 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.



Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for the senior citizen card in Andhra Pradesh the applicant has to approach the Differently Abled and Senior Citizens Assistance Corporation (APDASCAC) office of your area link
  2. Obtain the application form to apply for senior citizen card from the corporation office.
  3. Make sure that you have all the original documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section below.
  4. Submit the form to the corporation office along with the required documents.
  5. Applicant can also send the application form along with the required documents as a photocopy to the head office through post to the Differently Abled and Senior Citizens Assistance #Corporation (APDASCAC) office of your area.
  6. Refer the corporation office location mentioned in the “Office location & contacts” section below.
  7. After the application form is processed, an enquiry officer will make a thorough verification regarding your proof which you have submitted along with the form.
  8. Collect the acknowledgment slip after submitting the form.
  9. The applicant has to use that acknowledgment slip to obtain the senior citizen card.
  10. This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

The following documents must be attached with the application form to apply for senior citizen card.

  • Photographs of the applicant.
  • Proof of residence like Ration Card.
  • Identity proof.
  • Date of birth proof.
  • Aadhaar card.
  • Applicant has to bring original documents for verification and scanning at Sampark.
