ProcedureEdit

Apply Online:

  1. To Apply for EIA or EIC Certificate, the applicant has to make the application online via the following link
  2. Click “Registration” enter the particulars and register an account.
  3. After registering an account, the applicant has to click the “Login” menu in the top right side corner.
  4. The applicant has to enter a Login id and password to log in.
  5. On the “Online Application” tab and select “Apply for EIC”
  6. Fill in the application form with accurate information about the company, product, and export destination.
  7. The applicant has to attach all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  8. Next,Pay the necessary fee for EIC certification through the online payment gateway.
  9. Review the application and click “submit.”
  10. All applications are processed within a reasonable time, having regard to the particular circumstances of each application, including the completeness of information and documents submitted to the authority by the applicant.
  11. The authority will undergo a thorough inspection by a certified inspector to ensure that it meets the required standards.
  12. Once the inspection is complete, you will receive an electronic copy of the Export Inspection Certificate via email.
  13. The entire process can be completed within 10- 15 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.


Apply In-Person:

  1. To Apply for EIA or EIC Certificate, the applicant has to approach the nearby EIC Sub offices link
  2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  3. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  4. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
  5. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
  6. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
  7. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  8. All applications are processed within a reasonable time, having regard to the particular circumstances of each application, including the completeness of information and documents submitted to the authority by the applicant.
  9. The authority may seek additional information from an applicant if this is necessary to assess the application. The authority does not need to deal further with an application until the applicant provides this information.
  10. The authority will undergo a thorough inspection by a certified inspector to ensure that it meets the required standards.
  11. After successful approval, the authority will issue the EIC certificate to the applicant.
  12. This entire process can be completed within 10- 15 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
