Apply Online

  1. To Apply for Fitness Certificate, the applicant can make the application online via the following link link
  2. The applicant has to click “Online Services” and select the “vehicle related services” from the drop-down menu.
  3. Next the applicant has to select the respective state from the drop -down menu and select “RTO” and click “Proceed”.
  4. On the next tab, the applicant has to click “Apply for fitness certificate” and read the instructions and click “Continue”
  5. Next the applicant has to enter “vehicle number” and last five digits of “chassis number” and click verify details.
  6. OTP will be received in applicant’s mobile. The applicant has to enter the OTP.
  7. After entering the OTP the applicant can able to make application and pay fee Online
  8. After successful transaction wait 2 minutes for receipt generation. Then Print the application and book a Slot for Inspection of Vehicle.
  9. Submit at RTO office with vehicle for inspection by IMV.

  • Photocopy of Valid Insurance Document of the vehicle.
  • Pollution emission compliance report of the vehicle.
  • Application for grant of fitness certificate in prescribed format (FORM-II)

  • Aadhaar Card

Fitness Certificate is a requirement for every Transport Vehicle.



FeesEdit

Certificate of Fitness:

Motorcycles : 200 INR
Three wheelers and Light motor vehicles - 400 (manual) INR , 600 (automated) INR
Manual Medium or Heavy Motor vehicle - 600 INR
Automated Medium or Heavy Motor vehicle - 1000 INR



ValidityEdit

  • For New Vehicles - 2 years
  • For Old Vehicles - 1 year from the date of renewal

You may approach the Registering Authority (R.T.O) in your region to apply for a Fitness Certificate. The vehicle is inspected by Motor Vehicle Inspector for registration and fitness.
