This procedure explains various ways to raise a request for the shifting of the electric transformer.

BSES Rajdhani Power Limited and BSES Yamuna Power Limited
Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply In-Person, you should visit the allocated EB office for your location. You can find the office location and contact details on the official websites.
  2. While applying In-Person, the consumer should obtain the application from the authorities in the office.
  3. You can also write the request letter mentioning the reasons for shifting the electric transformer.
  4. Make sure you have all the documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section.
  5. The request letter/Complaint form and the required documents should be submitted to the officials in the Electricity Board.
  6. The authorities will go through the application form and provide an estimate of the amount to be paid to the Electricity Board.
  7. The estimated amount has to be paid in the Demand Draft (DD).
  8. After giving the form, they will provide you the Complaint Docket Number and the payment slip.
  9. You have to keep those details safe for future verification and reference purposes

  • Due to the increased COVID-19 cases, all type of In-Person services have been stopped until further notice from the electricity department.

Apply through Online and 24/7 portal:
The Delhi government has introduced various online services for raising compliant through online methods. To raise a request for the shifting of the electric transformer, you can request through any one of the methods.

  1. The consumer should register their complaint with the 24/7 Customer Care toll-free number,
    • 19123- BSES Rajdhani
    • 19122- BSES Yamuna
  2. You can also mail your request to the 24/7 Customer Care Service.
  3. You can raise your complaint through the customer care what’s app service number.
    • You have to send “Hi” to the Number 8800919123 – (BSES Rajdhani)
    • You have to send “Hi” to the Number 8745999808 – (BSES Yamuna)
  4. You can also use the “Call-Back” request from the official website.
  5. You have to select “CHD Appointment/ Ask for Call Back” option.
  6. You have to enter your CA Number and then click on the “Call-Back” button.
  7. You have to select the service category from the given options.
  8. You have to describe your query.( Explain the reason for shifting the electric transformer)
  9. After registering the complaint, the CHD team will contact you for the same.
  10. After your registration, you will get your “Complaint Reference Number” to your registered mobile number/Email ID.
  11. You can track your complaint status by calling the customer care number by mentioning the Complaint Reference Number.
  12. You have to keep those details safe for future verification and reference purposes.

  • CA Number
  • Proof of ownership / legal occupancy of premises, if request is for shifting of premises, such as
    • Sale deed
    • Allotment, Possession letter
    • Municipal Tax receipt
    • Gift deed
    • Will deed or any other valid document
    • An indemnity bond drawn by the owner
  • Recently paid electricity bill (Shouldn’t have any arrears)
  • DD for the estimated shifting charges
  • Proof of Identity of the applicant such as
    • Ration card
    • Election Identity Card
    • PAN card
    • Aadhar card
    • Passport
    • Driving license
  • Any other document(mentioned by the authorities)

EligibilityEdit

To request a shift in the transformer, the eligibility criteria are:

  • You should have the CA Number, and any valid Identity proof (Ex. Aadhar Card).
  • You should be the resident or the owner of the land (leaser too) in the mentioned area for “shifting the electric transformer.”



FeesEdit

  • The fee structure for the shifting of the electric transformer is given by the respective Electricity Board Officials after undertaking the survey for the mentioned location.
  • The consumer should bear the entire cost of shifting the transformer/pole.
  • The evaluated fee should be paid in advance in the form of a Demand Draft to the New Delhi Electricity Department.
