Apply In-Person:

  1. Applicant has to submit an application addressed to the Licensing authority of the concerned Municipal corporation Delhi
    Note: Please select “CLICK HERE” under the respective municipality and find the contact details by using the applicable option.
  2. Go to the respective office.
  3. Meet the respective authority at the licensing department of the Municipal Corporation / Municipality office. Applicant shall get the advice from the authority to be followed to apply for the respective trade.
  4. Collect the applicable application form or write on a plain A4 paper as per advice.
  5. Submit the completed application form along with required document as per our page.
  6. Authorities will check the submitted application and announce the fees / charges. Please pay and get the receipt.
  7. This application will be moved to the respective authority of the Zone for field verification of site.
  8. After field verification, authority will submit verification report before the trade licence committee.
  9. If the Trade license committee observes that all norms are complied with by the applicant, authorities will issue order to make applicable payment.
  10. Applicant shall make the payment as advised.
  11. After all the above steps, applicant gets notification from the department. Please follow the notification to get the license.
  12. If the Trade license committee observes that all norms are not complied with by the applicant, the application by rejected.


Note:

  1. It is advised to submit additional set of copy of the documents and get counter signed for your safety while applying with government department..
  2. Visit your nearest or a running trade in your region and consult with them for any latest update requirements.


Apply Online:

  1. The apply for trade license, the applicant has to make the application online via the official portal of MCD (Municipal Cooperation of Delhi). link
  2. Now the applicant has to select their region among North DMC, South DMC, or East DMC.
  3. Click on “Trade/ Storage License” tab visible on the home page.
  4. Then the applicant has to click on the ‘Application for New License’ where you will be directed to the new trade license application page.
  5. Then, the applicant has to complete all the requested details such as New trade license details, Applicant’s address details, other owner details, Type of license, Business details, NOC from a fire department, Fee details, Property Tax details etc. and click on the ‘Submit’ icon.
  6. Next the applicant has to upload the necessary documents that are mentioned in “Required Documents” section of this page.
  7. After uploading all the requested documents (scanned documents), click on the Submit icon.
  8. Once the application is submitted, verification of the documents will be done by the ULB officials.
  9. After submitting the application form successfully, an automatic unique application number will be generated.
  10. Once the application is scrutinised, the authorised official will calculate and generate the fee-seeking requisite payment from the applicant for issuing the License.
  11. The applicant will be notified via SMS or email on the registered mobile number and email address for making the requisite payment.
  12. Then, click on the “Make Payment” icon to make the payment online. A receipt will be generated as an acknowledgement slip for the amount made.
  13. Once the payment is received, the competent authority shall verify and issue the Trade license.


Apply through CSC:

  1. To Apply for Trade License, the applicant has to approach the nearest CSC centre link
    Note: The applicant has to select a state, district, and block name from the drop-down menu, or the applicant has to click on their respective district to find nearby centres.
  2. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  3. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  4. The applicant has to attach photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting it.
  5. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
  6. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
  7. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  8. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
  9. This application will be moved to the respective authority of the Zone for field verification of the site.
  10. After field verification, the authority will submit a verification report before the trade license committee.
  11. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  12. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
  13. The applicant will get a license by visiting the center.
  14. This entire process can be completed within 3 – 4 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
