Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. The applicant has to approach the Public Work and Water Supply Department of the respective area. The address can be found in the given Contact Link.
2. The applicant has to receive the application form from the respective officer.
3. The applicant has to enter all the required details in the application form.
4. The applicant has to attach the documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section below, along with the application form.
5. The applicant has to submit the form and the attached documents to the Public Work and Water Supply Department.
6. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority request.
7. Once all the procedures are duly completed, the Public Work and Water Supply Department’s officer forward the applications to the District Nagar Nigam Office or the Municipal Corporation Office.
8. After that, the municipality provides the required service to remove or replace the Destroyed or Damaged water meter.
9. The process will take 5-6 days after submitting the application.

• Receipt of the previous bill
• Adhar Card
• Identity proof
• PAN Card
• Passport Size Photographs of the applicant (Recent photos)
• Residential proof of the owner (acceptable residential proofs are listed below)
  • The District Nagar Nigam Office or the Municipal Corporation Office Bill
  • Telephone (landline or post-paid mobile bill)

  • Income Tax Assessment Order

  • Certificate from Employer of reputed companies on letterhead

• If the reason for the damage is that of the applicant, then the total expense will have to be paid by the same person.
