ProcedureEdit

Apply In-Person:

  1. To get a land mortgage in Maharashtra, the applicant needs a land valuation certificate.
  2. To apply for a land valuation certificate, the applicant needs to approach the nearest Sub-registrar’s office or the Tehsildar’s office.
  3. You can find the nearest one here: Sub-registrar office
  4. The applicant will be given an application form.
  5. Fill the application form and Attach all relevant documents as mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page
  6. Submit the application file to the sub registrar’s office with a Rs 5 stamp.
  7. The application will be forwarded to the concerned authorities.
  8. After approval, you will receive a certificate within 3 to 5 days.


Apply Online
To check the value of the applicants land, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official portal of the stamp and registration department in Maharashtra.
  2. Here is the link to the Portal link
  3. Scroll to the bottom where you see online services.
  4. Click on e-ASR.
  5. Now click on “Process”.
  6. You will be directed to another page where a map of Maharashtra is displayed.
  7. Select your district by clicking on the map.
  8. You will be directed to another page where you have to enter Taluka.
  9. Once you select the location and enter Taluka, location-wise rates are displayed on the page.
  10. Click on the link that says “Survey no.”.
  11. You can search by survey number.
  12. You can search for your survey number here and find the value of your land.
