Procedure

Apply Online:

1. To Create account with DigiLocker, the applicant has to make the application online via following link
2. The applicant has to click “Sign Up” to create an account.
3. On the next page the applicant has to enter the Name, Date of Birth, mobile number, PIN, email and Aadhar number.
4. After entering all the details, the applicant has to click “Submit” button.
5. Then the applicant has to enter an OTP (One Time Password) which is sent to their mobile number and click “Submit”
6. Next the applicant has to set their username and click “Submit”.
7. A pop will be displayed and indicates successful completion of account.
8. Then the applicant can click Sign In and enter username and password to avail the service.
9. There is no fee for creating account in Digi Locker.
10. The entire process can be completed within 10 – 15 minutes.

Apply Through App:

1. To Create account with DigiLocker, the applicant has to install the mobile app by using the following link
2. The applicant has to select their preferred language and click “Get Started”
3. Next the applicant has to click “Create Account”.
4. On the next page the applicant has to enter the Name, Date of Birth, mobile number, PIN, email and Aadhar number.
5. After entering all the details, the applicant has to click “Submit” button.
6. Then the applicant has to enter an OTP (One Time Password) which is sent to their mobile number and click “Submit”
