Apply In-Person

  1. To Cancel or Surrender a No Objection Certificate for Vehicle Registration in Maharashtra the applicant has to approach the RTO office to which your area belongs to. Following link can provide you information related to the list of RTO office : Regional Office Locations, Transport Commissioners Office Locations
  2. Surrender the original copy of NOC obtained earlier to the original registering authority (RTO).
  3. Obtain a Certificate from the registering authority on whom the NOC was earlier issued stating that the said vehicle has not been registered at that office.
  4. An affidavit from the owner of the vehicle stating that he has not mis-used the vehicle and the NOC from the period of obtaining the NOC.
  5. Please make sure you have all the documents that are listed down the “Required Document” section of this page.
  6. Present the documents in the counter and pay the appropriate fee where the officials would start processing your application.
