Apply Online
- To Apply for Duplicate Auto Rickshaw Permit, the applicant must make the application online via the following link link
- The applicant must click “Online Services” and select “Vehicle Related Services” from the drop-down menu.
- Next the applicant must select their respective state from the drop-down menu and select respective RTO and click “Proceed.”
- Next the applicant must click “Other Services” and select “Online Permit” from the dropdown menu.
- Enter Vehicle Number and last Five digits of Chassis number and click on “Proceed”.
- Next Authenticate the service Using Aadhaar number or mobile Number.
- OTP will be generated registered Aadhaar mobile number and enter OTP and click on login.
- After Login select “Duplicate permit service” and start filling the application form and save it.
- An Application Number will be generated then Click on Verify.
- After verified check permit fees details and click on “Make Payment”
- The fee details for this procedure is mentioned in the “Fees” section of this page.
- After successful payment a receipt will be generated, the applicant can download the receipt for future reference.
- The applicant must check the status by clicking on “status” menu and select “Know Your Application status” and enter application number or registration number.
- If the status is approved, the applicant can print the duplicate permit.
- This entire process can be completed within 15 - 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
Apply In-Person:
- To Apply for Duplicate Auto Rickshaw Permit, the applicant must approach their Respective RTO offices – link
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer
- The applicant must fill in all necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete forms are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant must attach all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant must attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
- The applicant must submit the application form along with the required documents to the concerned officer.
- The fee details for this procedure are mentioned in the “Fees” section of this page.
- All applications are processed within a reasonable time, having regard to the circumstances of each application, including the completeness of information and documents submitted to the authority by the applicant.
- The authority may seek additional information from an applicant if this is necessary to assess the application. The authority does not need to deal further with an application until the applicant has provided this additional information.
- The authority will check all the submitted documents, after verification the authority will issue the duplicate permit.
- This entire process can be completed within 15 - 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
