Procedure

• Any transgender resident who intends to apply for Transgender Scholarship must make the application only via online or via registered CSC centres.

Apply Online

1. To Apply for Transgender Scholarship, the applicant has to make the application online via the following link
2. If the applicant is the new user, click the “Registration” on the home page.
3. The applicant has to enter all the details for registration process.
4. Enter the captcha and click the “Registration” button.
5. After registration, the applicant will receive login password for accessing the account to the registered email ID.
6. The applicant has to click the “Applicant Login” button.
7. Enter the username and password and then click on the “Login” button.

   Note: Already registered Applicant directly “Login” and click on “Scholarship” to fill the details.

8. After Login, the applicant has to select the scholarship option in the Dashboard.
9. Now the applicant has to select the category type as per the education qualification.
10. Select the education level in the given option.
11. After selection of educational level, the applicant will get Application Number by clicking “Get Your Application Number”.
12. To continue with the application form, the applicant has to click the “Ok” button.
13. Enter all the details in the application form.
14. The applicant needs to provide four steps of detail to complete the process.

    NOTE: Profile details, Education, Course details, Bank details, Documents Upload, Declaration.

15. After completing each step carefully, the applicant has to click the “Save & Next” button.
16. Once completed with entering the details, the applicant has to upload all the necessary documents which is mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
17. In the declaration step, check the given information and add in the digital scan signature and finally click the “Submit” button.
18. There is no fee for this procedure.
19. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
20. Once all the process gets completed successfully, the applicant gets the scholarship documents through email.
21. This entire process can be completed in 30- 45 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

NOTE:

• The applicant can also track the application status by login through the portal.
• The scholarship payment will be providing yearly through the given bank account.

Apply Through CSC

1. To Apply for Transgender Scholarship, the applicant has to approach respective “CSC” centre link

   NOTE: The applicant has to select state, district and block name from the drop-down menu, or the applicant has to click on their respective state to find nearby centres.

2. Please visit the centre and consult with the centre operator for your requirement.
3. If the operator issues an application form, then collect it and pay the requisite fee. Please complete the application form.
4. Now, submit the completed application along with the required documents as per the “Required Documents” section of this page. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
5. The operator will process the application online. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement. The applicant will also get a transaction number as a text message on their registered mobile number.
6. Applicant has to make necessary payment as centre operator quotes and don’t forget to take the receipt.
7. This application will be forwarded to the respective department for further processing.
8. ”SMS” triggered update on application status will be sent to the applicant’s mobile. Please keep track of the notification.
9. The submitted application will be processed by the department. A designated authority (supply officer) will verify the submitted documents and inspect the area of the applicant to clarify the applicant’s details.
10. Based on the outcome of the above-mentioned steps and other internal processing, the designated issuing authority will decide on the issuance of the Transgender Scholarship.
11. The status, viz. Approval or Rejection will be conveyed to the applicant through an “SMS” or applicable norms.
12. This entire process can be completed in 30- 45 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

Eligibility

• Any transgender person holder of transgender certificate issued by the National Portal for Transgender person of the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment.
• Any Indian transgender can apply for this scholarship.
• The candidate should not be receiving any other central or state government funded Pre-Matric/Post-matric Scholarship.

• The Fee to apply for transgender scholarship is free of cost.
