Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for a land mortgage in Lakshadweep, you will have to approach the nearest common service centre to obtain information regarding the documents you will need.
2. If you need a land encumbrance certificate or a valuation certificate, further details regarding how to apply will be given at the CSC.

4. To obtain a land mortgage in Lakshadweep, the applicant will need a land valuation certificate and a property encumbrance certificate.
5. To apply for an EC and land valuation certificate, the applicant will have to go to the nearest sub registrar’s office or Teshildars office.
6. Collect the application form for the EC and land valuation certificate.
7. Enter details and affix a non-judicial stamp.
8. Attach all relevant documents as mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
9. Submit the application form along with all supporting documents, the application will be forwarded to the concerned authorities.
10. You will receive an application number, keep this safe.
11. You will get timely updates on your phone regarding the status of the application.
12. Once approved, you can visit the office to collect the certificates.
