Apply through Local Electricity Office
- Applicant should go to the Local Electricity office in-person to apply.

- Application Form can be collected from concerned Electricity office (Please pay for form as required)
- Submit the completed form along with documents to section engineer/assistant engineer.
- All the documents will be verified by the concerned authority. A receipt cum Quotation for Earnest Money will be issued.
- Pay the amount at the respective counter within 15 days of issuance of quotation.
- After the payment is made, authorized representative will inspect premises to ascertain the details as per application.
- If there is any deviation found, authorities will suggest action to follow.
- If all are satisfactory, authorities will issue a Quotation for Service Connection and Security Deposit.
- Authorities will also inspect the common space for proper illumination and proper ventilation which should be free from any hindrances for installing the required meter(s).
- Applicant has to pay the advised service Connection Charge & Security Deposit at the respective office counters.
- After the payment is made, connection will be provided as per schedule

- In the given page, please select Domestic Or Non Domestic tab for the requirement.
- Please select “Online Registration” option to create account by following the screen prompts.
- Now use the prompts in the sign in session and hit login to reach the next page.
- Here applicant has to enter details for address, document upload, payment for connection, Inspection details and submission of application to initiate the online process.
- Once the approval is sanctioned, user will get notification. Please take printout of the online application and other details. Meet the authority at the respective office and follow the guidelines to get the connection
Apply Through CSC
- To obtain electricity connection, the applicant has to approach respective “CSC” centre link
- NOTE: The applicant has to select state, district and block name from the drop-down menu, or the applicant has to click on their respective district to find nearby centres.
- Please visit the centre and consult with the centre operator for your requirement.
- If the operator issues an application form, then collect it and pay the requisite fee. Please complete the application form.
- Now, submit the completed application along with the required documents as per the “Required Documents” section of this page. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
- The operator will process the application online. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement. The applicant will also get a transaction number as a text message on their registered mobile number.
- Applicant has to make necessary payment as centre operator quotes and don’t forget to take the receipt.
- This application will be forwarded to the respective department for further processing.
- ”SMS” triggered update on application status will be sent to the applicant’s mobile. Please keep track of the notification.
- The submitted application will be processed by the department. A designated authority (supply officer) will verify the submitted documents and inspect the area of the applicant to clarify the applicant’s details.
- Based on the outcome of the above-mentioned steps and other internal processing, the designated issuing authority will decide on the issuance of electricity connection.
- The status, viz. Approval or Rejection will be conveyed to the applicant through an “SMS” or applicable norms.
- The office will check the site to give the connection and process will be start for electricity connection within 2 weeks.

- Test Certificate of metering equipment, if consumer supplies the same.
- Certificate for claiming exemption from payment of cost for providing service connection, if applicable.
