Widow Certificate through Nadakacheri Webiste through Online:

  1. Visit the Karnataka Government official website Website Link
  2. After visiting the website click on “Online application” option and then Click “Apply Online”
  3. You will redirect to login page
  4. Now enter your phone number and click on proceed button.
  5. If you are a new user then after visiting the login page enter your phone number and OTP and
  6. It can provide the profile user page then read the instructions carefully
  7. Now select the application form name as “window certificate” and select the preferred language
  8. In next step upload the all required documents and make the fee payment through credit card, debit card, and net banking
  9. Click on “submit” button
  10. After successful submission, they can provide the application slip. Take the printout of the form for proof of submission
  11. By using the application slip number you can check the form status easily through this Karnataka Nadakacheri website
  12. You need to pay Rs 15 as the fee for the applicable certificate
  13. Applicants can receive the window certificate by the department within 7 working days from the date of application submission.


Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for Widow Certificate, you have to approach the Municipal or Revenue department.

  3. You can approach the revenue department authorities for form or write it on the A4 sheet.
  4. Make sure that you are eligible to apply for Widow Certificate by checking the Eligibility criteria provided under “Eligibility” Section of this page.

  6. Fill the form with all the necessary details and Submit the form to the concerned officer In-charge in the Revenue Department.
  7. Pay the appropriate as quoted by the authorities.
  8. The will provide an acknowledgement receipt. keep it safely for your Future Reference.
  9. You will get the Notification as soon as the Certificate get’s ready.
  10. Now you can go to the office and collect the Widow Certificate.

  • An applicant can apply for the Widow Certificate provided she is having a unique CAN number.
  • If the applicant doesn't have a unique CAN Number, she must register for CAN to access the application form for Widow Certificate.
  • User must have valid username and password.
  • Make relevant and correct entries only.
  • Recheck the entries before clicking on Submit button.
  • Mandatory fields cannot be left blank.
  • Mandatory/Optional documents should be attached as per requirement.
  • Do not make false entries.
