Procedure

The Unemployment Certificate is required by the unemployed youth for self-employment, availing bank loans, etc.

Apply Online

1. Visit the Nadakacheri official website link
2. In the new screen please select “Online Application” menu and choose “Apply online” option
3. Applicant will get OTP verification page. Please follow the page prompt as appropriate and get in to the next online service page.
4. User profile page will be provided here select “Unemployed certificate” option
5. Applicant shall read the instructions carefully and also select the language
6. Now fill the application form with correct information and also provide the educational information and number of years unemployed.
7. Upload the necessary documents as prompted and pay the fees as per applicable morms.
8. Click on Submit button
9. Applicant receives acknowledgement for the submission. Keep it safe for future reference.
10. By using this application number applicant can check form status online. If the information found here is correct then take printout.

Apply In-Person:

1. Please go to the respective Nadakacheri or Municipal or Revenue office.
2. Link for contact: link OR link please select “About Government” menu and choose “Districts” sub menu. In the new screen select the name of the district to reach the respective district portal. Here select “DIRECTORY>PUBLIC UTILITIES>Municipalities” menu for contact details.
3. Obtain the application form from the respective counter or write in a plain paper.
4. Please submit the completed application form along with required documents to the staff at the receiving desk.
5. The submitted application form and documents will be verified by the authorities.
6. If all are OK, authority will process the application.
7. Applicant will get the certificate after internal processing as per notified tome as per applicable norms.

Through CSC

1. Use the following link to find the centre. Link: CSC Centers
2. Please go the respective office.
3. Application can be obtained from the authorities.
4. Submit the complete application along with required documents to the operator in the centre.
5. Operator will check the details and start to process online using the computer.
6. Applicant will get the transaction ID for the application made. Please keep it safe for future reference.
7. This application will be processed by the respective department as per how it will be processed in person.
8. Applicant will get notification about the status on his registered mobile number provided while applying.
9. Applicant has to go and meet the respective authorities with documents as instructed to get the Income certificate as per given date.

• Original Employment Exchange Registration Card (To be shown) and attested copy of the same to be submitted at the time of applying for Unemployment Certificate.
• 2 copies of Self attested recent Passport size photographs.
• Aadhaar card.
• Mobile number.

• Any other document to claim benefits offered by respective state government as advised by authorities.

Eligibility

• To get Unemployment Certificate from Employment Exchanges of the respective state, the candidate must have registered his/her name in the concerned Employment Exchange.
• The Registration of the candidate must be valid.
• Candidate registered in Employment Exchange and remain unemployed for 5 years or the number of years as fixed by government

This certificate will be valid till the unemployment certificate holder gets employed and shall surrender the said issued certificate to the issuing authority

Instructions

The candidate can register his/her name in the concerned District Employment Exchange within whose jurisdiction his/ her place of residence is situated.

Need for the Document

• Any citizen of India is eligible for Registration at an Employment Exchange for assistance in securing Employment/job. There is no necessity to verify the employment /under employment / unemployment status of the applicant.
• The Departments of Employment in various States of India allow unemployed educated youth residing in the respective States to pre-register for impending job vacancies occurring in different sectors of that State.
• This certificate will be required by unemployed youths holding valid employment registration card for self-employment and to avail bank loan to start their business.
