Procedure

Apply Online

1. To Adopt a Zoo Animal, the applicant has to use the following link link
2. If the applicant is a new user, the applicant has to click the “NEW USER SIGN UP”.
3. To register enter the mobile number and new password.
4. For verification of mobile number, the applicant gets the OTP number from the registered mobile number.
5. Once entered the OTP click the “Verify” button.
6. Now the applicant has to login to the portal by using the registered mobile number and password.
7. The applicant needs to select the respective zoo from where they need to adopt.
8. Once selected, the applicant has to select the animal group.
9. Once selected the class, the applicant has to select the animal and the duration.
10. The amount for each animal will be differ.
11. Now, the applicant has to enter the name, city, Mail ID, and starting date of adoption.
12. After completion, click the “Next” button.
13. Once all gets done, the applicant can check the adoption summary in the screen and click the “confirm and pay” button.
14. Pay the amount successfully using any type of online transaction mode.
15. Once the payment gets successful, the applicant gets the SMS or mail.
16. The applicant has to visit the respective zoo office; further details will be intimate by the officer.
17. The processing time for this procedure is within a week.

Apply Online through Bannerghatta Biological Park:

1. To Adopt a Zoo Animal, the applicant has to use the following link – link
2. The applicant has to read the animal list and click the “click Here to adopt” button.
3. In the following animal details (animal category, classes of animal, expenses per year).
4. After selecting the animal click the “Proceed” button.
5. The applicant has to enter all the information in the given form and click the “Submit” button.
6. Once completed, pay the required amount in the online mode.
7. The applicant will get the adoption summary receipt.
8. Once the payment gets successful, the applicant gets the SMS or mail.
9. The applicant has to visit the respective zoo office; further details will be intimate by the officer.
10. The processing time for this procedure is within a week.

Apply In-Person: (Mysore Zoo)

1. To apply for theAdoption of Zoo Animal in Karnataka, the applicant has to approach the Zoo office.
2. The address related to the Zoos in Karnataka can be obtained from the “Office Locations and Contacts” Section of this page.
3. After visiting the office, applicant has to approach the Zoo office to obtain the Adoption form or download from here: Form Application Form
4. After entering the necessary details, submit the form at the Zoo office/concerned Zoo in charge.
5. Pay the appropriate fees (level of support) at the counter in cash/cheque/DD depending upon the Animal chosen for adoption.
6. Collect the certificate of adoption from the Zoo officials.
   
   

Apply for adoption using App: - Adopt a Zoo Animal Online with Images

1. To adopt aZoo Animal, the applicant has to download “Zoos of Karnataka” app. Follow the link: App link
2. After the app is downloaded, then you have to click “Get Started” button.
3. Sign up with your phone number and password.
4. Click on “Start Adopting” button.
5. Select the Zoo.
6. The list of Zoos that come under “Zoos of Karnataka” is mentioned in the “Information which might help” section of this page.
7. After selecting the Zoo, click on “+” button to add Animals for Adoption.
8. Once the Animals are added successfully, in the next page add your details and click on “Proceed to Pay” button.
9. Once the payment is processed successfully, you will receive a digital certificate for Animal Adoption and other perks.
   
   

Apply In-Person: (Bannerghatta Biological Park)

1. To apply for Adoption, the applicant has to visit the official website, follow the link: Contacts
2. The above link contains a brochure, which contains the details about the animals and the adoption rate. You can download the brochure or print it. Follow this link for the brochure: form
3. The payment can be transferred through NEFT; the accounts details are given in the brochure.
4. Once the payment is done, take a screenshot of the confirmation message.
5. Mailthe screenshot to [email protected],attaching the filled application form.
6. Once the Zoo authority receives it, they will send you a confirmation via email.
7. Once its confirmed, Zoo authority would send the Adoption certificate, passes etc.
