ProcedureEdit

Apply Online:

  1. To Register Tube wells or Boreholes, please visit the Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA) website. Link
  2. Click the link “Online Application for NOC” on home page.
  3. Click on “New User Registration”. A page will be appear.
  4. Fill in the “User Registration “Form.
  5. During the registration process an OTP (One Time Password) for verification will be send to user mobile. User will be asked to type in the OTP to verify the mobile number.
  6. Fill in the rest of the page and click on “Proceed” to complete the process.
  7. Now, go back to the homepage and click on “Applicant Login”.
  8. Enter User Name and password then click on “Login” button.
  9. After login, click on “Apply” and select one of the “New Application form for Industrial/ Infrastructure/ Mining application” options.
  10. Fill all sections and click on “Save as Draft” for each section of the form.
  11. Upload the required document in respective tabs.
    • Note: Scanned copy of the application with signature and seal should be attached at "Application with Signature and Seal" in attachment section after completing all information and before the final submission.
  12. Click on “Submit” button on “Final Submit” form.
  13. Application number will be generated after the successful submission of the Application Form.
  14. The application will be forwarded to respective offices automatically. There is no need to send hard copy of application.
    • Note: Application once submitted cannot be edited.
  15. To know status of application, select “Track your Application” link in the home page.
  16. Select “view” in the Status Column for the required application number and view the Status of the Submitted Application.



Apply In-Person

  1. To Register Tube wells or Borewells visit the Municipal Corporation/ Village Panchayat of the applicant’s area. The address and contact details of the head office can be found in the following link link link Central Ground Water Board link
  2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
  3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  4. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. Then, it should be submitted to the relevant authority. Also pay the required fees for the application process at the office as directed by the officials. Please collect the acknowledgement slip for the paid fee. Keep it safe for future reference.
  6. The application and attached documents will be sent for verification to check, if there is any discrepancy.
  7. After all the processes are completed, the concerned officials will approve the application and proceed with the registration process. The registration process may take 30 days.
  8. Once the document is ready to be collected, the office will contact the applicant to his/her given address to collect it in person or through any applicable means.

  • No objection certificate of the neighbouring residents (if necessary).
  • Patta or sales deed of the land.
