Procedure

Farmers of Himachal Pradesh could apply for Small/Marginal Farmer Certificate through the following procedure.

Apply In-Person

1. To apply for a Small/Marginal Farmer Certificate, one has to visit the Tehsildar Office of your area.
2. To view the list of Tehsils, select your district from the link and select > About District > Administrative Setup > Tehsil/Sub Tehsil HP Districts
3. Before applying, please consult with the concerned authority regarding all the requirements necessary for obtaining the certificate.
4. Procure the prescribed application form to apply for this service. Applicant has to pay for the Application form if required.
5. In the procured application form, fill all the required details.
6. Attach the photocopy of all the required documents with the application form.
7. Submit the documents to the concerned authority and pay the required fee.
8. Receive the acknowledgement receipt and keep it safe for further reference.
9. Visit the respective office to get your certificate after the processing time allotted by the officials during the time of application.

Apply through Centres:

1. To apply through centres, the applicant has to visit the respective “CSC” centre. Please tap on the following link to locate the centre according to the respective district: link.
2. Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. An application form can be obtained through the kiosk operator upon visiting the centre.
4. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
5. The operator will process the application online.
6. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement.
7. Pay the fee as given in the “Fees” section of this page and collect the receipt.
8. After the application form is processed, an enquiry officer will make a thorough verification regarding the documents submitted along with the form.
9. Collect the acknowledgment slip after submitting the form.
10. The applicant will get the certificate in a stipulated period of time.

• Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana- Under this scheme, farmers are provided Rs. 6,000 per year as a minimum income support : PM Kisan
• Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan yojana- Under this scheme, farmers are provided minimum pension of Rs 3000 / month on attaining the age of 60 PMKMY Site
