Procedure

• If anyone shifts from one place to another place in view of transfer, Marriage, resettlement etc. they need to apply for a new ration card in their new place of residence.
  

Apply In-Person

1. As a first step obtain Surrender Certificate from the concerned ration office of the place from where the person was residing previously.
2. In order to transfer ration card, please apply with office of District Food and Supplies Controller/Assistant Food and Supplies Officer/Inspector Food and Supplies office of the new place where the applicant resides now.

4. Applicant shall obtain the form from the respective office (please pay for the form if required) Or a written/electronically typed application on A4 plain sheet as advised shall be used.
5. Please submit the completed application form along with required documents to the respective authority.
6. On accepting your application, authority or clerk will check the details and issue a receipt as acknowledgement.
7. Please keep it safe for future reference,
8. This submitted application will be processed by the department, After ground level verification and physical inspection by the Supply Officer applicant gets notification.
9. If all the process are successful, applicant will get the ration card as per delivery mode (delivered through postal or on hand)

Apply Online:

1. To Transfer Ration Card (Smart Ration Card) in Haryana, the applicant shall visit the following webpage: Link.
2. A new page will open up, where the applicant needs to log in using their login credentials.
3. If the applicant is a new user, click on the "New User? Register Here" option on the portal and provide the necessary information to log in as a registered user.
4. After login, the applicant shall choose an appropriate option to obtain the card and proceed further.
5. The applicant shall fill up the application form with all the necessary details on a newly opened page and complete the given application form.
6. Now the applicant shall upload scanned copies of all the " Required Documents" for further processing.
7. Once the documents are uploaded, provide the mobile number and enter the received OTP.
8. Now click on "Submit" and complete the process.
9. On successful verification, the permit will be issued by the authority.
10. Obtain the original ration card from the concerned office.
