ProcedureEdit

Apply In-Person

  1. To apply for an Employee Verification In-Person, get the Employee Verification form from the nearest police station in Haryana Haryana Police Stations
  2. Residents of Gurugram could also download the form online Servant Information Form
  3. In the procured form, fill the required details of the employee.
  4. Fill in the details of the employee’s Id Proof.
  5. Fill in the required details of the employer.
  6. Affix the passport size photograph of the employee in the space given.
  7. Attach Photocopy of the employee’s Photo ID proofs.
  8. Duly sign the form and submit the form at the nearest Police Station.
  9. Pay the required processing fee.
  10. Receive the acknowledgment receipt and keep it safe for further reference.
  11. Visit the Police Station to get the report once it is ready.


Note: Carry the original Id proofs to the police station for any necessary cross verifications to be made.

Apply Online

  1. To apply for an Employee Verification online, visit Haryana’s HarSamay Citizen Portal webpage from the link: Apply Online.
  2. If you are a new user, create a new user account by selecting “Create new account”, fill your details and click on submit.
  3. Now select Employee Verification from the “Citizen Services” Drop Down menu.
  4. In the given window, fill all the required details of the employer.
  5. Fill in the required details of the person to be verified/employee.
  6. Upload the scanned copies of the required documents in the specified file size and format (Check required documents section for further details).
  7. Check the details filled for any correction before you submit the form. Submitted forms cannot be altered.
  8. Pay the processing fee of Rs.50.
  9. Your application will now be processed and the police will make verifications to create a Report.
  10. You can download the report from the HarSamay Citizen Portal once it is ready.

  • Electricity Bill
  • Water Bill
  • Telephone Bill
  • Residence Certificate Issued By SDM/Teshildar
  • Any photo identity proof of the employee and the employer from the following:
  • Aadhaar card
  • Driving Licence
  • Ration card
  • Voter ID
  • PAN Card

  • Anyone from Haryana who wants to verify an employee.
  • The Employee should be 18 years and above.


FeesEdit

  • A fee of Rs.50 is charged for this Verification.


ValidityEdit

  • There is no validity period for this Verification Report.
  • It solely depends on the person/authority accepting the Verification Report.
  • The certificate stands null and void in case the employee indulges in any criminal activities.

Need for the DocumentEdit

  • While hiring a person, it is highly advisable to verify the antecedent of the person with police before employing them.
  • This verification also helps you know if any criminal records were registered against the person hired and if he/she has a shady character.

  • This protects the employee from involving in any criminal activities in the near future.
