Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Applicant has to submit an application addressed to the Licensing authority of the concerned municipal corporation/municipality where the business is proposed.
2. Link for contact details : Haryana ULB In the given page please use the “All ULB’s” drop down section and select the applicable one. In the resulting page please find the contact us menu or contacts menu for information.
3. Go to the respective office.
4. Meet the respective authority at the licensing department of the Municipal Corporation / Municipality office. Applicant shall get the advice from the authority to be followed to apply for the respective trade.
5. Collect the applicable application form or write on a plain A4 paper as per advice.
6. Submit the completed application form along with required document as per our page.
7. Authorities will check the submitted application and announce the fees / charges. Please pay and get the receipt.
8. This application will be moved to the respective authority of the Zone for field verification of site.
9. After field verification, authority will submit verification report before the trade licence committee.
10. If the Trade license committee observes that all norms are complied with by the applicant, authorities will issue order to make applicable payment.
11. Applicant shall make the payment as advised.
12. After all the above steps, applicant gets notification from the department. Please follow the notification to get the license.
13. If the Trade license committee observes that all norms are not complied with by the applicant, the application by rejected.

Note:

1. It is advised to submit additional set of copy of the documents and get counter signed for your safety while applying with government department..
2. Visit your nearest or a running trade in your region and consult with them for any latest update requirements.

Apply Online:

1. To Apply for Trade License, the applicant has to make the application online via – link.
2. If the applicant is the new user, the applicant has to click the “New user, Register here”
3. Enter all the necessary details for registration process with the captcha code and clickt the “Submit” button.
4. Enter the login details and click the “Submit” button.
5. Select the application from the following list.
6. The application form of Trade/ Business License will be displayed on the screen
7. Fill in the right credentials in the form and upload the required documents which is mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
8. After uploading all the requested documents (scanned documents), click on the “Submit” icon.
9. Once the application is submitted, verification of the documents will be done by the ULB officials.
10. After submitting the application form successfully, an automatic unique application number will be generated.
11. The applicant will be notified via SMS or email on the registered mobile number and email address for making the requisite payment.
12. Then, the applicant has to fill out all the requested payment details.
13. Then, click on the “Make Payment” icon to make the payment online. A receipt will be generated as an acknowledgement slip for the amount made.
14. Once the payment is received, the competent authority will verify and issue the Trade license in a stipulated amount of time.

Apply through Centres:

1. To apply through centres, the applicant has to visit the respective “CSC” centre. Please tap on the following Link to locate the centre according to the respective district: Link.
2. Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. An application form can be obtained through the kiosk operator upon visiting the centre.
4. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
5. The operator will process the application online.
6. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement.
7. Pay the fee as given in the “Fees” section of this page and collect the receipt.
8. After the application form is processed, an enquiry officer will make a thorough verification regarding the documents submitted along with the form.
9. Collect the acknowledgment slip after submitting the form.
10. Use the acknowledgment slip to get the license in a stipulated period of time.

Eligibility

• Those who are 18 years and above are eligible to apply
• The applicant must not have any criminal records
• Business must be legally permissible.

Fees

• Fees structure is different for different states.
• Please pay as authority’s advice at the time of applying.
• Don’t forget to take the receipt for the payment.

Validity

• License is valid for 1 financial year or as notified on the license.
