ProcedureEdit

Apply In-Person

  1. To Adopt Zoo Animal in Haryana, the applicant has to approach the Zoo Office.
  2. The address of the Zoo in Haryana can be obtained from the “Office Locations and Contacts” Section of this page.
  3. After visiting the office, applicant has to approach the Zoo office to obtain the Adoption form or download from here: link
  4. Select a Zoo or the deer park of your choice.
  5. Choose an Animal for Adoption and period of Adoption.
  6. After entering the necessary details, submit the form at the Zoo office/concerned Zoo in charge.
  7. Pay the appropriate fees in cheque/DD at the Zoo office.
  8. Once payment is transferred successfully, Adoption certificate will be issued.
  9. The applicant can gift the adopted animal to friends, parents, children, or relatives.
  10. If in any case the applicant’s favorite animal is already adopted, the applicant’s name will be put on the waiting list, and as soon as the animal is available, the applicant will be informed.



Apply through Centres:

  1. To apply through centres, the applicant has to visit the respective “CSC” centre. Please tap on the following Link to locate the centre according to the respective district: Link.
  2. Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  3. An application form can be obtained through the kiosk operator upon visiting the centre.
  4. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
  5. The operator will process the application online.
  6. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement.
  7. Pay the fee as given in the “Fees” section of this page and collect the receipt.
  8. After the application form is processed, an enquiry officer will make a thorough verification regarding the documents submitted along with the form.
  9. Collect the acknowledgment slip after submitting the form.
  10. Use the acknowledgment slip to get approved animal(s) in a stipulated period of time.

Privileges of Adopting a Zoo Animal:

  • All Adoptions are eligible for Income Tax deduction under section 80G of the IT Act, 1961.
  • Adoption Certificate will be given to Adopters.
  • Complimentary passes twelve times a year for Zoo visits for a five family members.
  • Name of the individual/organisation will be in the list of honour of the Society and their names will also be displayed at the Zoo entry gates.
  • The adopter will be a special guest during various celebrations at the Zoo.
