ProcedureEdit

Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for a duplicate Investor’s Visa in Zambia, the applicant will have to visit the Department of Immigration, please tap on the following link to view contact details: link.
  2. Please make sure to have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  3. Upon visiting, the applicant will be provided with an application form to be filled in the immigration office.
  4. Once understanding the guidelines properly, the applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form.
  5. Submit the application form with necessary attachments to the office.
  6. Pay the fee as given in the “Fees” section of this page.
  7. After the completion and verification of all the documents, the visa will be accessible.
  8. Collect the visa from the office or wait for the visa to arrive via post on the postal address in a stipulated time.

Required DocumentsEdit

  • Covering letter addressed to the Director General of Immigration.
  • Certificate of Incorporation.
  • Certificate of Share Capital (where required);.Certificate of Minimum Capital.
  • Investment License from ZDA (where available).
  • Proof of personal investment amounting to US$250,000 for a new business and US$150,000 if joining an existing company (Bank Statement, Money Transfer, ZRA Form CE20, showing description and value of goods/equipment).
  • Proof of ownership or lease agreement in Zambia.
  • Certified copy of valid passport (bio data & last endorsement stamp for Zambia).
  • Two recent passport size photographs.
  • Prescribed fee receipt.

EligibilityEdit

  • An Investor’s Permit is issued to a foreigner (above the age of 18 years) intending to establish a business or invest in Zambia or who has established or invested in a business in Zambia, or is joining an already existing company.
  • The applicant should already have an Investor’s Visa.



FeesEdit

  • Application Fee: K 12000.



ValidityEdit

  • The duplicate investor Permit will be valid for the same period as the original visa that is mentioned in the passport.
